There are few places that not only live up to the amazing travel photography but at times outshine it- and Japan is definitely at the top of that list. Everyday that I woke up to teach English at a university in Tokyo felt like a dream. From experiencing my first earthquake, feeding a deer a cookie after it politely bowed for me, and having dinner with an Ex-Yakuza member, Japan will always be one of my favorite adventures.
